Project: Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer
For a first experience in the games industry, I couldn’t have asked for better: a 3D animator on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

For a first experience in the games industry, I couldn’t have asked for better! Here are the challenges I had to take on…
Let’s rewind a little, to when I was fresh out of school in 2009. I was looking for an internship, and a golden door opened: the door of Ubisoft Annecy. After that internship, I was hired as a 3D animator on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.
A few challenges to take on
As an animator at Ubisoft Annecy, you need to be versatile and explore many sides of game production. The studio had around 70 people at the time, so everyone had to wear several hats. The job went well beyond 3D animation alone.
That was my challenge on this 9 month production: working with the whole team to find a fighting style for each character, and putting my animation skills to work so the fights would look as spectacular as possible.
