New assignment at Ubisoft Annecy #3
Teaming up again with the games studio hidden in the mountains of Haute-Savoie, this time on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

It’s for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 that I’m teaming up again with the games studio hidden in the mountains of Haute-Savoie!
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
For this second instalment of The Division licence, the story takes place in Washington, in summer, 7 to 8 months after the disaster that struck on the previous year’s Black Friday:
The game is developed by Ubisoft Massive in Malmö, Sweden, together with Ubisoft Annecy and several other Ubisoft studios around the world.
Ubisoft Annecy brings Washington to life
Among other things, Ubisoft Annecy took on the development of the civilians in the city streets, and that’s the mandate I brought my skills to. The constraints shift slightly in terms of direction, since it’s no longer freezing cold but crushingly hot. Supplies have been dwindling for months. The bin-scavenging animations have given way to gardening in the protected sanctuaries the last survivors have built for themselves. One thing hasn’t changed much: the violence in the streets. But since the disaster, the villains have had time to organise into structured groups. Even though the teams already worked together on the first game, we’re not resting on our laurels. Plenty of thinking went into bringing the city to life all over again!
The game comes out on 15 March 2019!
